Amid the outbreak of the novel coronavirus, India’s PM Mr. Narendra Modi has been seen giving the motivational messages asking people to come out in the balcony of their homes to clap, beat utensils, light diyas and torches in the view of the “nations collective resolve and solidarity” in the fight against the coronavirus with aforementioned gestures.

The level of participation of people in the movement can be appreciated to the most extent. Even before the clock turns 5 p.m., the people started beating utensils and thumping drums. Also, just before the designated time of 9 p.m., people turned off the lights at their homes and lit up diyas and candles.

Well, the excitement of the people to join the movement started form Italy where people came out in the balconies to clap for the doctors who were trying their best to save the lives of thousands of infected peoples.

Doctors are God for the people right now. The picture depicts humanity getting saved by them.

Well, all this is one side of the story. When people are appreciating the work in the right manner, many can be seen careless towards this outbreak. They are just making a joke of this outbreak by celebrating with a lot more people in groups. The people are dancing on roads on the rhythm of beating utensils and drums as if it is Holi where one usually loses his senses after getting drunk.

Inviting danger after gathering in groups in the name of appreciation(lol)

Some 4 days back, it was being asked by Pm Narendra Modi to lit diyas, candles, torches and to switch off their home lights for 9 minutes from 9 p.m. onwards. Many were again unable to contain themselves within their homes. In fact, many took this day as a chance to grow their diya business and opened shops and many considered this opportunity to go out of their homes to buy candles and diyas. The rush could be seen on the candles and diya shops on the 5th of April.

They burst crackers in the streets again not following the social distancing. I mean PM Narendra Modi has asked us to be in our homes and to maintain social distancing first. After that, if we feel responsible enough to appreciate the efforts of those who are saving humanity in the real sense, then only we should come out in our balcony to appreciate them.

What I want to say through this blog is that this time is absolutely not the time of the celebration, and of course not the way many are reacting. India can be safe, we and our family can be safe only when we remain at our homes. For doctors and whosoever putting efforts to save the people, such irresponsible appreciation will add up to their problems only.

In the end, I would request every reader to be at your home. Go out of your homes only in case of emergency but don't forget to follow the social distancing.

TRY TO APPRECIATE THE EFFORTS IN THE RIGHT WAY!!!

Thanks for reading. Any valuable suggestions will be appreciated.
